We had a great time in Warkworth on the weekend at the Lilac Festival. Luckily the lilacs were just opening!! Its a beautiful area to visit and an excellent first of the year Plein Air event. Thanks Janet Figueira for organizing the weekend and to Keith and Sharon of the Ontario Plein Air Society for making the long drive.
As an artist, I feel incredibly fortunate to be able to paint and draw without boundaries. My style is largely experimental with an emphasis on landscape and abstract art. I never set out to replicate an image but instead strive to convey a mood or evoke an emotion using loose lines, rich textures and bold colours.
